difference between the seal pup and the seal pup elite except the size?

Hello all, I look for my first blade for sea\dive use.
I consider to buy seal pup or maybe the seal pup elite that looks better.
except the size difference between them, and some difference in the design.
which blade is butter? for every day using at the sea environment? (i serving at the idf navy)

Actually there are many differences between the Pup and Pup Elite. I'll try to explain below.

Handle on Pup Elite is more contoured to fit in your hand.

The blade thickness on the Pup Elite is .185" vs .160" on the Pup

The blade steel on the Pup Elite is AUS 8 the Pup is AUS 6

The Pup only comes with the Powder Coating and partially serrated.

The Pup Elite is available with Satin polish finish and straight edge, Black TiNi Straight Edge, Black TiNi partially serrated.

Any chances on a Seal Pup Elite without the spine rasp? Right now, that's pretty much the only reason I haven't picked one up yet.
 
there is also big brother to the seal pup elite, the seal team elite knife, i dont sure if its the rasp that makes this knife look wrong or something else.

what does you recommend to stick with the old seal knife? or the new seal knife elite?
