Difference in Sebenza year?

Hi guys:

does it matter what year a particular sebenza is made? Is there a marked difference between a sebenza made in 2000 as opposed to a sebbie that's made in 2004? If so, what are they?

Let's assume that your talking about the same model. That is a 2000 regular vs a 2004 regular and a 2000 classic vs a 2004 classic.

The only thing that I'm aware that has changed is that s30V steel is now being used, and very recently the thumb ridges are now larger and not as grippy.

I have a small regular that was made Nov. 8 2004 and it has the smaller thumb ridges. Could this be a random thing? Maybe some of the makers make the blade with the small and some with the large?
