Differences between Chinook I & II

Hi, guys !
Can you tell me the difference between the Chinook I and II ?
And, was there any Chinook I made of S30V steel ?

Yes towards the end of production they were made with S30V. I don't think they're that common though. I have one but don't often use it.
 
Hi almtiba, the spine of the blade has been reshaped and lowered a bit on the Chinook II, no swedge grind, rounded contour at the front of the hump. It also has been drilled and tapped for 4 way clip mounting. Finally, the liners are skeletonized, and this, plus the changes in the blade shape, make it about 2 ounces lighter that the Chinook I. If you want to compare the blade shapes, New Graham Knives has both for sale, with excellent pictures of the Chinook II. As BOK said, there are some S30V Chinook I' out there, a lot the Chinooks being offered on eBay right now are S30V Chinook I's.
