Besides the blade steel and name stamping/etching.I see from pics the spacing on the handles at the latch is different.First run have a gap same a the spyderfly but the later runs the handles are very close to touching. This causes the latch to open at the slightest touch. What is the reason for the change?

Maybe they felt the originals were too hard to open? FWIW, my 154CM one takes more than a slight touch to open. The latch releases reasonably easily, but I wouldn't say too easily. Don't have my trigger scale handy, but I'd estimate it takes about 5 lbs of pressure to release.

Interesting. My Szabofly is nowhere near 5 lbs more like a few ounces. Does the latch on yours look like mine?

Looks as of the gap is about the same. How about when the latch is open does it hit the backside of the handle?

I'd say it looks about the same as yours when open. Finally found the scale and my guess was pretty good, takes a bit over six pounds applied in the concave area of the latch side handle to open it.

Thing is, you're photos are comparing it to a Spyderfly. To me at least, the original Szabofly latch, while a bit different from the new Szabofly's, was more like it than like the Spyderfly latch.

Any of you want to sell one of those szabofly's? ;) hahah jk. Man i wish i had one tho, those are gorgeous. Also, do you guys have the screws tightened all the way? I know on my spyderfly the amout of pressure it takes is a lot more right after i tighten up the screws then after a few days of flipping
