Different 110 sheath

Can anyone identify this 110 sheath. I found it going through my empty sheaths and no other has the cutout down in front. It says 110 on the back and has a belt loop.

I know they are from Buck that way, they have rivets in the top corners. I know the Atchinson sheath was made I believe for one year but I don't know what it looks like. Seeing two alike I believe more so that it was made from the factory that way. It is very hard to snap, i think this is a culprit putting round marks on the 110 wooden scale Bucks.

My 1972 fifth version variation 2 110 has a sheath like that.

Yes, you gents are correct. Those are Buck sheaths. They were made during the 2 dot era 110's. That design was used for other models as well.
I got one like that when I purchased a Duke 500 with the script stamp and maroon micarta handles. It has a 500 stamped on the back. I would guess those went away at the time of the 3 dots. For sure by the time of the 4 dot 110's. (1982) DM
