I picked up a cheap 1997 110 because it struck me as odd. It has no visible pins on the factory inlays, came with 2 sheaths, couldn't pass it up.

Cood Deal Scott!!!!

Don't you have a real oldie with no scale pins.....:) May be the start of a "theme"

Is that nylon a horizontal carry? Extra bonus if it is.

Scott,
Looks like a really clean, neat knife without the pins.
What is "cheap" ? A range then?

It looks nekid

Pretty cool Scott.
Where'd cha find it?

Cool knife Scott.
I like that nekid look! I wonder how many more are out there like that??

Scott,

I would say that was a GREAT DEAL. :D I too would like one in my herd, are there anymore where that one came from?? I like nekid things!:p

I think the correct term is Buck Nekid....
Do you have the box? If you give me the catalog number from the box, I can look it up. I know we did a special run for someone a few years back that did not have inlay pins. I thought the blade was mirror polished though. Nice find! :D

The knives with the polished blades and no pins were the Buckle Tree over run knives Cat # 8041 Model # 110C. Mine has a 1990 date mark. FYI.

Joe & Richard, Thanks for the additional info, but the blade is a standard factory finish. Mine is an fleabay find, good price, but without a box. I hope someone finds the information that it was a super dooper limited 1 of 1 'Buck Nekid' edition :D
