Just got a 710 from another forumite and noticed several differences when compared to mine!
I super-imposed one on top of the other for better comparison purposes.
Most obvious is logo.
I purchased mine from a gun/knife show about a month ago.
My logo is larger and does not say "bali-song" and appears to be a dark brown color.
Their logo matches the logo I have on my several years old CQC7.
Their liner is almost entirely skeletonized.
My liner has machined holes.
Their thumbstuds are attached via set screws.
My thumbstuds are attached from one side with a Torx.
Their pivot pin is silver. Mine is black.
My clip torx are smaller - theirs are larger.
My radiused edges have a double bevel - theirs is a single curve.
My false edge is not as deep as theirs.
My main grind is taller.
Mine seems to have a more consistent edge grind.
Are these both production pieces?
Is one a pre-pro or what?
Are we seeing normal production variation?
What is the story behind the different logo?
Which one is older?
