Different Blur ricassos

I'm noticing two different ricasso styles on the Blur. One is sweeping, organic, and very Onion-y, and the other is straight and less attractive in my opinion. The all black Blur I received from KershawGuy in the past week has this straight ricasso (although the photo shows the swept version). Just curious as to when / why they changed.

Hollow grind and flat grind? There was a thread about this not to long ago let me find it for you.

Thanks for that. Very interesting. The reply from kershaw indicates that they are all now being hollow ground. That flat ground blade really looks terrible next to the hollow ground version. I guess I'm going to have to get another Blur

Now if they'd just get that clip to ride deeper...
