Well, I have taken the plunge to work on 1" wide stock and D2 at that!!
2 of these are a tad longer for kitchen type utility blades and the smallre 2 are abouy 7 5/8" overall. The top one has a blade of 5" and is going to be my new kitchen pattern to base different sizes from... I think. Add some blade height and a tad larger handel and it will make a knice chopper.
The smaller 2 are supposed to be no frills / bird and trout sorta concept.
