different finishes on inlayed 21's

As I'm searching Google for my next CRK (after the Ti-Lock is paid off) I'm getting a bit disappointed with the handle finishes. I've pretty much decided that I want another small 21, something with a nice inlay but, almost everything I've seen has the polished (or is it a light stonewash?) except for the Micarta version. I have the large CF inlay with the polished handle and really don't care for it, I would much prefer the regular blasted finish on it and whatever I choose for my next piece. Are there or have the there been any nice inlayed smalls with a plain blasted finish besides micarta? I'm not opposed to micarta but was really interested in box elder, snakewood or depending on how lucky I get, mammoth bark/ivory.

My dream small 21 would be a Mammoth Bark inlay with blasted finish and an Insingo blade with some flavor of damascus but you know what they say...you can wish in one hand and **** in the other!

I saw the second thread last week, that's exactly what I'd like. I'll have to see if the owner had it done or bought it that way, I'm curious how it was done as far as protecting the carbon fiber.

It's kind of goofy looking to me to have everything polished but the clip and lockbar blasted. It's not THAT bad but the basic finish is perfect, in my opinion.

I agree that the blasted finish would be nice with the wood inlays! The polished finish shows too many scratches IMO, but the wood holds up really well and would look great with a worn blasted scale:)

There are two main reasons I don't like it, the polished scales show oils and fingerprints extremely easy but the scratches are fine, I like to have a little wear on my knives that I carry. The other thing is the blasted finish on part of the knife and having the rest polished just doesn't mash aesthetically for me. Obviously it does for most people or i would think the knives would look different.

I like micarta and think I'll probably go after that one but I'd love to find a blasted Small with a nice wood.

Micarta is the only inlay with blasted slabs & stonewashed blade.
CF, Mammoth, Wood inlays all have polished slabs & polished blades.

+1 on the blasted with wood/ mammoth etc..hoping crk produces some..

Yeah that kind of stinks, for me anyway, that most inlays have the polished Ti. When I bought my cf inlay 21 i wasn't aware they weren't blasted (guess I should look closer to pics next time!) and I hate to say it but I wouldn't have bought this one, I would have done went with the large cf knifeart piece. I'll still enjoy the knife either way, I was just curious if blasted inlay models were an option.
