Anyone have any links or info to all the different scales produced for this pattern? For instance was it ever made in the copper snake acrylic? I was not around when these where introduced and just curious if a list was ever made? I want a second to rotate but I can be patient in picking it up, just looking to know what all my options are :D

If you check GEC's website, they have the production totals under the information heading. It tells how many they made of each handle material and whether or not they were serialized. They haven't released the totals from last year yet, though.

Thanks Dan, I forgot about that. I will try to search out the ones I have never seen. If I cant find a pic of any Ill post it up here.

Go to GEC's website. Click on "Collect by Pattern" at the top right. Go down the list and click #53 Equal End Cigar.

These are the only two I cant find pictures of:

Good n plenty
Carved pumpkin

Is carved pumpkin just an early name or another version of pumpkin patch? I would love to find an orange black acrylic(born and raised SF Giants fan :D )

Their have really been some great pieces made for this pattern.

Here you go, Jeff.

I knew I should have just PM'ed you Jeff lol. Thanks, you are THE expert on this pattern. I love that Fall Harvest and kryptonite a lot. That coppertone looks awesome out in natural light. I like some of the dead skunks as well but the lighter ones, some are too black.

They really have put out a bunch of these over the years. I would love to see that new lightning bug or coffee house or rootbeer float acrylic be released. Maybe we can get another run out of them this year? :D Would not mind seeing a coconut palm wood either ;). I was very close to picking up that Koa on the exchange recently but the blade play kept me from it.

Ah well I guess I need to elaborate after seeing those great pics. I preffer the black background of the earlier one, I have just seen a few that have barely any other of the colorings in them. Two more fine examples Jeff, really appreciate your time to post these for all to see

Not sure ED. I did not see it in the production totals but maybe they left a few special/short runs out? I wouldnt mind finding a grits and gravy either. The look of the acrylics is really growing on me, just need to find the right one ;)

Ed....there certainly was..though not to many and it was done on the 4 blade Congress Pattern....

Kerry Hampton once dubbed the acrylics as not MOP (Mother of Pearl), but MOB . . . Mother of Brunswick. I still laugh about that one!

But this is my most unusual and maybe my favorite acrylic, the Blue Oyster.

Staying with the blue, this one called Twilight is cool.

Yep, you're right Jim. I had just come back to this thread to post that it was on the Congress. It is very nice. I'd snatch up a #53 in a heart beat if GEC came out with one in Looking Glass Grandma's Kitchen Floor. Thanks for the picture.

Blue is very cool too

To the best of my knowledge there's never been a 53 made in copper snake acrylic. The collect by pattern & production lists are a great place to start when looking for a particular variant, however neither are all inclusive, especially the early year production lists.

Nice display, Classic Case. That's a fine way to appreciate the front and back of the acrylic knives. :)
