Different grinds

Flat grind, full flat grind, hollow grind,etc...... Where would a young newbie( we all were at some point) learn about what all the different kinds of grinds and the pros and cons of each. Any help would be appreciated. I know I'm an idiot so I'll start the banter there. I just want to learn. Thank you.

Since the saber grind is the easiest for me to apply and maintain, I put that on every knife I own regardless of what the maker put on it.
