Andy,

I know that your handles are one of the forte's of your knives but have you considered doing other styles. I had one in mind and wondered if you would be interested in it, or at least your thoughts. It would be a skeleton handle with the cutouts filled with wood or micarta.

On a side note, I think I have to much time on my hands.

LOL. I've seen a bunch of those skeleton handles Orrey. But I really don't think its a project for me. Mostly because I don't think it would be comfortable to use. But also because I don't have a milling machine, so cutting the cutouts in the metal would have to be done by hand, and would probably not fit the inserts perfectly.

Good points. I generally don't like skeleton handles because they are difficult to use sometimes and can be uncomfortable but sometimes the thinness is advantageous. You would definitely need a mill for this as well, doing it all by hand would be killer.
