different kinds of snakeskin?? who cares its awesome!

ya,,i like the rope cut too.but check out my hogfsh,that stuff is off the hook!!

no,,theres nothing on it. its the most coloful snakeskin ive ever had.i seems to have alot of resin in it.also its cut right at a layer of what apears to be red paper.

If memory serves me, snakeskin is a combo of canvas and linen micartas.

The HOFSH scales were later referred to as snakeskin RAPTOR or something

Love me some SS! I never cared for the ropecut to be honest. The Fusion Raptor scales remain my favorites out of all slabs.

I think they figured out snakeskin could not be made again. Tigerhide still pops up on LE knives.
 
Still kicking myself that I did not order more snakeskin when we had it:(:(
 
The layering and how the boys cut it is pretty cool. Sometimes it's very red, sometimes very yellow, sometimes very dark brown.
 
Mmmmm the skin on the CGFBMs is my absolute favorite - the colors and pattern are just awesome!!!

Almost looks like digicam that was made to match a muddy blade :)

I miss snakeskin. I always loved seeing the different colors that came out with the different patterns. It really varied in color depending on the patterns and cut.
