I know quite a number of us like certain brands of knives. And our liking extends to collecting several models from the same brand.
For example, if it's Spyderco, you can bet your bottom dollar that you will have at least five to 10 types of Spydercos. And it may not even end at 10.
Normally, how many of the same brand of knives would you collect until you say, "whoa, OK, that's the limit."
I normally put a stop after three unless I am tempted severely, and that's quite often.
I have seen collections where the collector buys everything that have put produced by the company, or until his budget bursts, whichever comes first.
I guess it would be more sensible to say "five of each and no more" but being knife-addicts, it is often difficult to limit it to five and no more.
