I was on e-bay the other day looking for (what else) knives and I saw a Spyderco "slasher". Some idiot was trying to sell a Civilian anddin't know the right name for it. Fortunatley someone had e-mailed him to set him straight.

Just because I talk to myself doesn't mean I'm crazy. What's wrong with getting a second opinion?

I saw that too. It really made me wonder how such a knife ended up with that guy. (So Sal, when`s the Spyderco Disemboweler coming out? How about a plain-edged Eviscerator with 440v?)

That was kinda what I was wondering, thats not a common knife. He must have had a knifeknut relative who passed on and he inherited it. Did you see that he also said that it was rare to findthis kind of knife that the point was not broken off on? somehow I doubt that that is a serious problem with a Spyderco.

I peruse ebay as part of my job (rough life)and saw that too...knifeslinger and I both sent him emails correcting him, and he did put a small disclaimer in his ad, saying what it was really called
