i read in tactical knives the other day that there are four different size production maxxes? a 3" micro maxx a 4" micro max a 5.5" mad maxx and a 7.25" gibss version? is this true? are they in production already? anyone got any info?

The ones you mention are not Camillus production pieces, but rather the versions Darrel makes. The Cuda MAXX from Camillus comes only in the 5.5" blade length and bowie style. Course if you read the post you see where a 4.0" version is desired by a lot of folks, along with a 5.5" in the dagger style blade.

Will it come to pass? Only the Will will be able to tell us!;)

I'd be interested in the 7 1/2 version:cool: Even if Camillus doesn't make the BIG monster, I'd buy another Maxx if it came in the spear point blade design.

I ordinarily would have dug the 5.5" Maxx; but needed something that I can handle in the city jungle. It was a tough enough hurdle to understand that I can't take my autos out for a walk; then to understand that 4" and minus will keep me in good relations with the local officers.

So I went and ordered my first custom knife, just so that I could get a Maxx that I can carry whenever I want in this area. Cost a lot of dough; not too happy about that. But I figure, as it has with other nice purchases, once I get the thing our of the box and start using it, the memory of the bucks will fade away! :D

.... Until the credit card bill comes in! :(

I finished the first 3 inch ti version today !
The handles were carved like my new balisongs and contoured (domed).
Sweet little MICRO MAXX

Went to the site and didn't see it. Please post a picture of the micro maxx.

btw, the Walrus version Maxx looks beautiful, what with the special anodized irregular pattern on the handle.

Try this link to get to a picture of it and of it's brothers.

Damn! Who says size doesn't matter? It don't matter with the Maxx! Looks like you've developed quite a little theme there, me buck-o! :)
