Different take on my Nubilus design

So far pretty much all my Nubilus knives have been flashy in some way. Ghost Jade G10, burl, mosaic.... I finally did one with a plain black linen micarta and stainless pin/tube hardware. I even used a flat finish on the micarta and scotchbrite finish on the bevels. This is pretty much how I'd do one for myself if I was going to carry it and use it day to day. I might go with mosaic just to spiff it up, but otherwise this would be it.
CPM154 steel from Aldo, heat treat by Paul Bos Heat Treating.

The handle's darker than this shot looks, the flat finish catches the light in the fibers and looks light grey in direct sunlight.

yeah, its got a simple and functional look that is just really appealing... like the sandra bullock of knives.

Lol. I have never had a knife compared to an actress, but that works. I am not sure how she would feel about it though.
