Hi guys & gals!

First of all - I want to apologise because I´m opening a thread about a topic that has been discussed for sure. But the search function doesn´t work at all and I would like to ask my question before I forget about it...

I ordered a Buck 110 Anniversary Knife some days ago. Got it for quiete a deal at the Fleabay (at least for german relations) and I can hardly wait for getting it. I noticed that there are versions with several (i.e. different) tang stamps. Some are above the BUCK-line some next to etc etc.

Why did Buck do that? Is it due collectibles or are these just different production runs of the knife?

Thanks for your replies and sorry for opening the thread. If you guys know the correct thread - Mods please move to that!

Quick answer is that for about the first 3 months the tang stamp was just the 50/Anvil and USA. It became a concern that the knife did not actually have the word "BUCK" anywhere on it and the tang stamp was modified to include the word "BUCK". Hence, 2 versions of the stamp for 2014. Hopefully someone else will get some pictures put up here shortly.
