Different tpyes of titanium handles?

I might just be crazy but I feel like some knives titanium handles have a different feel than others. Are knife companies using different types of titanium or is it just the finish that makes them feel different?

Both. Most US makers use 6al-4v and bead blast and/or DLC coat or aluminum oxide coat. I noticed Chinese makers use TC4.
