Difficulties with Avatars

I´ve been trying to insert an avatar into my options and not been successful at all. What am I doing wrong?

Am I able to insert an html adress and make it work? Am I also able to choose a pic from my own computer and if so what should I choose? Jpg, Img, Bmp? Also, should I mark the "custom" mode or not?

Sorry for being stupid :confused:
 
If there's an image you want that's online, download it to your hard drive, then you can upload from there to BFC.
Make sure the image is no more than 50 x 50 pixels, and not more than 10,000 bytes.
.gif format will probably be your best bet.
