That would make a sweet pair. You know, considering all the knives I own, I have yet to own a rifle or handgun. I might have to treat myself for my birthday....any suggestions for my first firearm.

IIRC, (Dr.) Lunde is a competition pistol shooter. If you PM him and/or start a thread w/ something like the last part of your post as the title, I'm sure you'll get quite a bit of advise. BTW, really like the blade/sheath/digicam combo. Definitely one of a kind. Pete

It is duracoat, the finish/texture kinda reminds me of Busse's tan coating.

Man, this needs a "how to" thread. How the heck do you apply that? Sticks to Nylon, Steel AND G10/Micarta? How does it wear?

The Duracoat coating was done by Will at uparmored (308sniper here on BF) he can answer those questions better than I can. I don't think I'll use it any time soon, but I remember reading some wear that duracoat stands up pretty well to tough use....after the two weeks curing process.
