Hot damn - my DigiCam/black blade Para finally turned up today....

It is sweeeeeet!

I didn't realise the G-10 on this is translucent - so awesomely cool.

Its just the most awesome blade - you guys know this already - but the DigiCam/black combo is sicker than sick.

Oh and mine is numbered 087V.... does this mean anything?

Check it out!!!

Nice Score. 087V is the collectors number of the blade. Spyderco puts those numbers on blades for their collectors club. V stands for Variant. It really doesnt matter if it has the number or not, its still the same knife with or with out the number.

I love the digicamo/Black blade Para, it is really sleek. I have a Collectors Numbered one I keep in the case (can't remember which one now) and I bought another one to carry....but I still haven't carried it yet, it's just so beautiful!

Yes, it is almost too good to use, but I have it in my pocket nontheless.

The blade is short in comparison to the handles, but this is one of the Para's most appealing aspects IMO.

When I got my first one some years back (my wife has it now) I was also taken aback by the abbreviated blade. I usually go for blades of 4 inches or more.

But the Para loses no cutting power. It is a wicked slicer. And the handles fit my hand perfectly, whereas its big brother is a little over sized for me (not having occasion to wear gloves much).

It has long been my belief that the Para-Millie is the finest EDC of them all. Which is why it is the only knife I own multiples of (I have a D2 one on the way).
