I'm looking for a small (fit in your shirt pocket) digital recorder.
I know there are plenty of these around , Radio Shack etc..., but I'm looking for
something with additional features, maybe they all have these I don't know.

Looking for;

- ability to jump to specific recording i.e., not have to cycle thru the
whole recording list to get to where I want. (like having to rewind if it were a cassette)

- ability to transfer the recordings to a PC
- ability to print or convert recording to text
- good quality durability and price

Let me know your thought and what features or qualities to look for or avoid.

Thanks

seek and ye shall find:)

I know of several authors and lawyers who use these types of products regularly, but I have no personal experience with them.

Speech Rec is getting pretty good IF you put the time in on the training and use a good quality mic. I've seen Dragon Naturally Speaking at work, and with the right tools and training it's a great product (ver 6 and higher), and I've heard good things about ViaVoice as well. One of these products should do what you ask for in your post.

Let us know what you find out!

Since the mic is important, I assume these
digital recorders are acceptable, since they sell them at the 1st site you listed.

Thanks
