Has anybody used the digital reloading scale from E. Arthur Brown?

http://www.eabco.com/electronicpowderscale.htm

It's $29, which is attractive if the scale works properly.

I'm using a Lyman mechanical scale now. I'd like to upgrade to a digital one, but the starting price seems to be around $150 for most of them. Anybody got a cheaper answer that still works?

Thanks, DutchV

I have used the Dillon for years and it makes things quite a bit easier. The one you are looking at says it has a 5 year warranty so if it won't maintain zero you can always return it. First few loads can be double checked on your beam scale and can be checked every so often that way. Digital scale make thing much easier and faster, also they tend to be very accurate which translates to smaller groups at the range. I would say it is worth giving a try.

Later on of course you may want to upgrade to a fully automatic scale and powder drop, I love my Lyman 1200 DPS III Digital Powder System...press a button and in a few seconds it is done...makes precision loading a breeze.
