digital temp guages

I am in need of a digital temp guage for my forge.I have the reader, what i need is the wires and actual guage that goes in the forge.

You mean the thermocouple? You will need a k type that reaches above the temp of your oven/forge. Are you US or Can? If US then try Omega, if Can then Omega or PSH.

That is the thermocouple and the ceramic sheath used for a gas oven.

Thanks AV. I just ordered one of these too. I had always assumed one would be too expensive for my small gas forge. It will be nice having an accurate reading.
