The Mesa Police Academy is looking for volunteers to get drunk :eek: It seems that they will pick you up, take you to the academy and then you start drinking. The OIT's then test you every so often to see how good they can detect a drunk :eek::rolleyes: So the question is......do you let the boss get you drunk for free so you can help out the betterment of society :confused: :rolleyes: I wonder if they will get me some Capt. Morgans :D

Anyway.......life is interesting down south. We are now basking in our beautiful weather and enjoying the lovely days(upper 80's) and cool evenings(lower 60's) :D I'm thinking I'm jinxed as far as work goes.....whenever I'm on call, nothing happens.......everyone else gets all the calls.......wonder if I can just go on call 24/7 and all the crime in Mesa would come to a stop???? :rolleyes: For now I'll be satisfied to just read all the cases and enter data in the computers. There are some really sick people out there.....y'all be careful, ya here!! ;)

Well, as long as they supplied the Cuervo Gold, I guess I would do my part to make society safer. (-:

Just so they don't then practice arresting me and throwing me in the drunk tank later.

Hmmmm. Have they asked any MALE volunteers to take part in this? Sounds like a sneaky way to get all the ladies at the station and get them drunk :eek: ;) :p
 
Getting drunk on the agency's dime is fine. When they come around looking for volunteers for the pepper spray, my advice is to respectfully decline.
 
Read the small print very carefully... "Oh, you didn't know about the weekend in jail with Bubba as part of phase two?"

The guy seemed interested in having me come when we played with the "beer"goggles and I walked pretty well with the .17 levels..........LOL He says the eyes don't lie though, so it would be interesting to see what happens.

I'm still going to have to think about it. :D

Gin if I were you I'd go for it as long as my health was okay to do so. Hell you only go around once so go around with Gusto!!!!:thumbup: ;) :D
What you need to think about though is if you're a happy drunk or a mean one. With me it can go either way - but - I was almost usually always a happy drunk.
You sure wouldn't want to do it if you're a mean drunk, don't need that on your record.:( ;)
But if you do it make them buy the pizen of yer choice.:rolleyes: :p
