I picked one up recently and am surprised by how much I like it. I have a few RMJs and some other high quality tomahawks as well.
KDSH is extremely nice. I have an Azwelke kydex on mine that is just perfect. Better than the RMJ factory kydex.

Hands down, my favorite tomahawk. I own many different hawks and have experimented with most on the current market. In my opinion.....the KDSH is the most functitonal tomahawk on the market to date.

Maybe they changed something but my RMJ kydex fits like a glove, it's dated Sept 2015 so this is totally possible.

My RMJ sheaths fit good too. The Oct 2015 does have a better fit than the 2013 and 2014s. I believe they have been making improvement tweaks. I think they changed from a clip to a pull the dot as well, but haven't followed it much in a while.
I just happen to like my Azwelke kydex better. Just that perfect combination of retention and ease of ingress egress. :thumbup:

I've wanted an INFI hawk for a while but I hear good things about RMJ which spurred me to try it. I'll eventually have a rattle hawk to test it against.

OTOH, any competent maker or modder should be able to add scales for you.

I shouldn't have bolded the RMJ part. I don't have an RMJ though I'd love to try a loggerhead shrike or the pathfinder. I was just giving a plus one on azwelke's sheath being great for the KD. Those Dave posted look dang nice also.
