Took my wife out for birthday dinner tonight. Good thing I brought my Hiking Buddy from the draw to help the little girl with her dental work:

I find that most restaurant supplied steak saws suck, and much prefer to take my own steak knife

I'm so glad to see I'm not the only one my wife gives me crazy looks when I whip out a knife at a restaurant because theirs wouldn't cut melted butter

Exactly! That's why I only go to places that serve on paper plates.

You have to learn to press just hard enough to hear a gentle click on the plate. The maitre d' will get upset if you baton the dinnerware!
