The resin family just got back from dinner at BD's Mongolian with mr. & mrs. steelnut. Always a good time when virtual forum friends become friends in the real world.

I loaned him my CABS for sheath-making, and he brought his RMDx II to tempt me. The handle feels great in hand, the palm swell is in just the right place for me. Satin, full convex grind, nuclear treatment, black paper, and it's NOT FAT! I'd say it's a screaming deal at $200.

Then we chowed down on some all-you can eat Mongolian stir-fry. The food, of course, is not authentic anything, but it's fun to create your own combinations and sauces. And they have beer. Good times.

Now I need a digestif. Maybe a whiskey and bitters....

That's awesome. I need to find some like minded knife nuts down here in the So. Cal. area.

Mongolian is great food. Now I'm hungry. Is this the one where you follow a line of food containers full of meats, vegies, etc... and build your own? I love it when I see people just about standing on their bowl trying to cram as much stuff in it before they get to the inverted wok.

Oh... and pics or it didn't happen. :D

That's great! Sounds kinda like YC's in the southwest.
I miss hanging out with Big Dave down in AZ. Although there are plenty of like minded people, I haven't met any Busse folk up here in western MT yet, but I am hoping to. Maybe at the Eugene show. I did recently convert a buddy though and he is now the proud owner of an S5LE and a B11. The sickness is so easy to spread...
