The resin family just got back from dinner at BD's Mongolian with mr. & mrs. steelnut. Always a good time when virtual forum friends become friends in the real world.
I loaned him my CABS for sheath-making, and he brought his RMDx II to tempt me.
The handle feels great in hand, the palm swell is in just the right place for me. Satin, full convex grind, nuclear treatment, black paper, and it's NOT FAT! I'd say it's a screaming deal at $200.
Then we chowed down on some all-you can eat Mongolian stir-fry. The food, of course, is not authentic anything, but it's fun to create your own combinations and sauces. And they have beer. Good times.
Now I need a digestif. Maybe a whiskey and bitters....
