I'm a fan of his work!

I got to speak with Dionatam and his charming wife at the Blade Show this year, and look at his knives. Your an outstanding Blade Smith!

I believe he won Best Damascus this year!

What a beauty! I love it's elegance, especially the sculpting of ebony handle without any pin(s). Great looking pattern in the damascus as well. :)

Question: Am I trippin' or does the dropped edge start behind the plunge cuts?  It really looks like it when zoomed in to it's full size.

I love these HUGE photos, they can be quite interesting and revealing!

Paul, you are seeing it correctly. I also liked how Franco did that, it's a very nice touch. I'm glad you like the HUGE photos. I'll be doing all of them like this for now on.

Thanks very much for this wonderful photograph Caleb!
thank´s for the compliments friends!
Best regards,
Franco.

I really like that trick with the heel, too. I've wanted to do it ever since seeing Richard Barney make one that way in the Loveless/Barney/Moran book.
Very tidy and fancy at the same time here. Materials driven elegance!

Blue so typical of your picture is sumptuous ....the pic is almost too big for one can fully appreciate .
