Dip Seal Anyone?

Has anyone ever used "Dip Seal" on carbon steel knife blades, for long term storage and/or scratch prevention? I know the plastic has got to be around 350-degrees-F and am wondering if that temp is too hot, for a knife blade.
Does anybody know if that temp will harm the Tempering of the blade?

350° F will not affect the temper of any knife.

Cougar is right. For storage of knives, guns, tools I coat them lightly with RIG preservative grease ,wrap with VIP [vapor inhibiting paper] ,put in a plastic bag.Works great !
