Dipped clip

About 6 months ago or so, I mentioned I scratched my truck with my small Sebenza clip. Shortly after that, I "dipped" (actually, I couldn't find the dip in black, so I sprayed) it in tool-handle rubber. I forget the name of it, but it's available everywhere. I think if I'd have "roughed up" the titanium, it would have worked fairly well. Also has a little piece of heat-shrink tubing under the rubber.

Interesting. How does it affect the way the clip grabs your pocket? Can you notice a difference when you hold the knife in your hand?

No, actually it doesn't.

The first couple coats, I masked off the back side, then did one or two coats to "tie it all together".

Actually worked quite well. It looked very nice when it was fresh, but it's showing some wear. Overall I'm happy with it.

That was a cool idea. Give the sebenza a new look also, I actually like it more than its original appearance.
