  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Direware Solo/S-90 EDC?

Not for me, but I like big knives and for the as of a month ago I switched over to having a dedicated knife pocket primarily. I do usually prefer to always have a belt when carrying big knives like the Direware or Medford. I like the knives and will carry them and like the heft in a way. Just make sure your pants are sturdy and you have a decent belt if you do not mind carrying knives like these. I think it is fun and interesting and as a guy I love to show off my possessions.

I've edc'd the Direware v4 and I also don't mind carrying it despite its thickness and weight. You definitely feel its presence but it isn't uncomfortable in any way.

Carbon front scale saves three ounces. Makes a difference, at least to me.

Softer edges on the frame make it a little bit more comfortable than a Medford Praetorian. Not quite as low profile as a Norseman, but still better than even an Emerson Combat Karambit, come to think of it.

You definitely feel it, though. Not a knife you'll forget you're wearing.
