Direware Solo V2, what is she worth???????

Hey members:
Have a member that is offering me a Direware Solo V2, new with Micarta handle, just got it from Direware. Is $ 1000 a real good deal or just Ok ? What are your thoughts on this model? Thanks very much
 
I think the waiting time for this knife is like a year and some change. The price on the website lists $550 to $750. And the micarta I believe is a new one so that may explain the price. So for an extra $250 in exchange of a waiting period for 1 year may seem good to some people. Your choice but I believe its a good deal.
 
I just bought one on the bay for $910 and it was lightly carried. it's just the aftermarket pricing. I've seen em go for 1200-1300. If it's new I'd say it's worth it. I love mine worth every penny i have an s-90 on order and that's going to cost 550 not so bad from eric himself. Ive never heard of the micarta being used on direware kinda interested in seeing pics of that version.

I love my Solo, just be sure you know they are a handful. His books are closed so I heard, so there is going to be higher prices for what is out there. If you want it get it,
 
I heard he's not taking any more orders so this may be the only way you are going to get one.
 
Yes, books are closed. the retail is $550 to $ 750. The secondary market is crazy, sellers wanting up to $ 1400. They are beautiful and built like a tank. Missed a brand new one a few weeks ago at $ 875. Someday, when my turn comes around. Happy Holidays to Everyone !
 
I wouldn't pay $1000 for a micarta version. If I wanted one and it was the exact configuration I wanted I might be willing to shell out that much.
