I LOVE this show. It's on the Discovery Channel, and after a long day of work I realize how lucky I am to have the job that I do.

Anyone else watch it?:barf: :barf: :barf:

Interesting show, though.

Hey...*I* got an inkstain on my finger the other day...

Fun show...reminds me of when I had to actually work for a living and makes me appreciate what I have now.

Exactly my feelings as well, Nasty. I slopped through some pretty gross stuff before i all edjamucated and became a paper pusher. It was nice to work a full 12 hours and have something to show for it. Of course, now all that junk I slopped through is the very reason people want to talk to me...I know what the heck i'm talking about;)
I can only watch that show in small doses. Some of that stuff just makes my stomach turn. Some of it is just plain dangerous!

I've watched some episodes. The pig farmer episode was pretty bad. :barf: :barf:

C'mon Dave, we're curious now. ;)

I just realized something after reading through your posts... although the Host gets to go through all that stuff, at least he gets the recognition. Imagine being a cameraman or one of the sound guys. You get to do it all and dont get anything besides smelling like god knows what and a roll of film at the end of the day.

I believe the Nepali word that comes to mind for such a job is "charpi".

Ahhh yes... the sound of that word reminds me of many threads back in the good ole ole days... furry sheaths... the duck... the night of the khukurra... at times it was more fun than I wish I never had...but in general it was good times... real good times...:p

It's bad. Much of it can't be mentioned here. I see and hear things on a daily basis that astound and shock me, and I'm hardly one to be shocked. Send me an email if you really want to know about it.

P.S. You don't really want to know about it. ;)
