While perusing E-bay for interesting things...I typed in "Al Mar" and got a few hits, saw a "Warrior," clicked on that and then on the rest of the Sellers Auctions...

Man, they cheap, utterly DISGUSTING rip-off companies not being content with ripping off the knives of Spyderco and others, have started to rip off TRAINING KNIVES TOO!

DO NOT E-mail this person, they DO NOT know any better and they are just trying to make a living. But do click on their other auctions icon and look, there are a few more.

As soon as we get the large companies making good trainers, these fruitbats start ripping THEM off...

I' ve never had any comment(s) on matters such as these on E Bay. But I just can' t help it. Nor can I stop laughing. But... "..professionally dulled.."?!?!?

"Professionally Dulled" indeed- looks like there is still serration left near the handle...

I'm reminded of an old modern knives article on making your own trainer. And they talked about just doing that with the knockoffs (well you couldn't cut anything with them anyways) But I don't know about this though. I think that there would be more of a liability with it.

Also I forgot which company, but they did some aluminum trainers that were fixed blades and looked like the endura (without hole) and I e-mailed them, and they said that it was similar to what most people would carry. (but a little bit more bench work and it could look like a different knife)

So I really don't know what to say.
