Does anyone know why the Old Timer Delrin handles turn white?
How can it be prevented, and cleaned up?
Sorry, this should be posted elsewhere. How do I delete this thread?

If the oil doesn't work, you can try fiebing's shoe dye. I had read where Codger tried this successfully and tried it myself, tho not in as large an area as your knife. Speaking if whom where is Codger. No posts by him in forever.

They get that was gradually if left in direct sunlight for a long time.
And I've seen one absolutely bone-white and chalky after a fire.

How can it be prevented,

Don't leave your knife out in the desert sun for long periods, and don't drop it in the fire. :)

and cleaned up?

Meh, I would just buy another.
