Disappearing thread in Customs for sale forums?

Hi, I just posted a for sale post in the custom for sale, and POOF, it disappeared, if I did something wrong, I'd like to know so I don't do it again.

Spark, I sent you a PM concerning this.
Apparently a decision was made concerning my posting about a rule that I've never heard of before. Because I've seen this done many times before without any comment, I disagree with what I've been told, and I would like a further ruling concerning this.
Either way, I'd really appreciate it if my post could be put back in place so I can sell those knives; edited or othewise.
Thanks, I will comply with all rules, but again, that is the first I've heard of this rule.
 
Look for an email from RGRAY regarding your thread. It should be taken care of shortly.
 
Your for sale ad said that you would post the prices later.

How do I know when later is?

Prices must be listed when you post the ad.

The post was not hastily moved.

The post was reported to me by another member.

When the rules are followed we don't have these problems.

You posted your for sale ad at 08:36 PM and came back at 08:46 PM and added the prices.

Why didn't you just wait and list the prices?

This is what you added at 08:46 PM

Okay, here's the prices:
Large: $200
Med: $160
small: $120
All 3 for $420, shipped.
If you're interested in buying just one, I reserve the right to hold off selling, to see if anyone wants to buy all three

Show me were you have seen this before?

List the 3 knives for $420 and then if they don't sell list the 3 individual prices.

I would not want to say that I will take the large one for $200 and wait an indiffinent time to see wether I got it or not.

That doesn't make sense.

-Perhaps it has never been worded the way I have done. I apologize for saying that. But, I have seen people holding of selling knives individually because they wanted to sell them as a set.

-Of course you could not have know when later is, but an email, or perhaps a warning post in that thread would have been good, as you've said, I think it was only about 10 minutes until the prices went up.

I would have if no price was listed, but you posted I will post the prices later which is not allowed.
 
I have recommended to Spark that the thread be moved back to For Sale: Custom Knives (Individual) and that the individual knife prices be removed.

Sorry about that. I got a bit ahead of myself and didn't check the times of the postings. Didn't mean to step on any toes or make anyone look bad. :o
