A coworker observed me cutting up my potroast and said, "you use that thing every chance you get." Well, yes i do. It got me to thinking...
Me and a friend were once batoning wood for a fire, he with his Sebenza and me with my XM, and I couldn't help but notice how beat down his knife looked. Like it'd been to war, while mine on the other hand looked brand spanking new (except for the dirty orange scale). He didn't say so but he must have been thinking, "Afraid to use it, huh?" Like it's a safequeen that I just breakout for show. So, the problem I have is that this stonewash finish just doesn't show any wear. Not cool. I would never intentionally scratch it and I do take care and mind what I'm doing but the damn thing should have some character to it by now. Give me a beadblast to muss up because real mens knives should look well used. Shame on you Hinderer!
