I got a yo 2 last week and i'm so disappointed , the pocket clip feel off so spyderco sent me 4 new screws and said they were the problem...Well I get the screws and guess what they wont hold the pocket clip in either I guess the liner is stripped out. I was o.k with that as it's so small I'll just pocket carry it so I carried it for 2 days and have opened and closed it trying to break it in as it feels gritty well, I just gave the knife a once over and I have friggin vertical bladeplay, I checked all the screws and they are all as tight as can be. I can deal with not having a pocket clip but blade play is unacceptable, anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this ??? As I said all screws are tight as they can go, and I have waited for months for this knife I don't want to just send it back ....The knife cuts like no other and the ergos are great , but let me make one thing clear this knife is no where near as smooth as a para 2, if your expecting to get a para 2 just with a wharncliffe blade that's not the case , at least not in my knife.

Trust me on this one..... Send it back, Spyderco's customer service is absolutely stellar! Email them with your issues and questions and let them take care of it. Assuming you haven't split the knife open (that'll void your warranty) they will more than likely take care of it. Sooner (a lot sooner) than you think, you'll have a perfect knife back In you'r hands.

They've taken excellent care of me on numerous occasions....

Best of luck and please post up when your issue is resolved

I plan on sending it back in, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to fix it before i sent it in, remind you it was on preorder since feb. and it still isn't out my dealer just got 25 of them from blade and i was in the top 25 on his pre order list.

Oh im confident in spydercos customer service i sent in a millie and it took 6 weeks to get it back but it was perfect when i got it back , that's why i'm hesistating on sending it in I dont wanna wait 6 weeks again.

Brother I feel your pain ..... I patiently waited 1 YEAR!! For my 0561 and when it came, the lock was sticky and not only did it travel all the way over but it actually started slipping.... UUGGGHH! I'm getting adgeda just thinking about it. Believe me the last thing I wanted to do was send back the blade I waited so long for.... I did and it came back better than new (Kershaw's customer service also kicks ass!) Spyderco won't let you down either.... Include a page with all of your concerns listed.... They'll see to it.

I guess i'll just hafta carry my ti millie and brand new benchmade 710 in m390 that i also bought last week with the yo 2 while it's getting fixed, and if i get tired of those 2 ill carry my 0560 as well :D

And that's why we buy lots of knives!

Hope you get it fixed soon, the Yojimbo 2 is awesome. I'm not the type to buy duplicates but I'm definitely getting another one once they are in stock again.

That's a real bummer. My Yojimbo 2 didn't leave my pocket for months. Only recently I've started rotating in my Brown Para 2 and 0561 but the Y2 is still getting 50% of my pocket time. I've had a problem with a Syderco once, contacted them, sent it in and got a new one in no time.
