DIsappointed with Kraton fit on Spur

The Spur is a dandy little thing, but the Kraton insert isn't quite as perfect as I had hoped. I saw a Stretch at a show once, and I thought I remembered the insert being a perfect fit. Are all kraton models a little off in places, or are they usually exact?

I've seen something similar too. My dad bought a Pro-grip about a year ago. He carried it a few days, and the insert started to come out. He fixed it with super glue and it's been fine ever since.
