Disassembling a SOG Powerlock

SOG sells replacement blades, so I guess they intend you will take it apart yourself. Heat the pivot screw with a soldering iron to soften the thread locker if you have difficulty getting it loose. It's not that hard to take one apart, although putting it back together with all the layers and washers in the right places is a bit "fiddly". Have some new low strength thread locker on hand for the pivot screw or you may find yourself having to re-assemble your Powerlock at a future time not of your choosing...

Thanks for the replies,

I called some place to see if they would coat my Powerlock in Titanium Nitride... They told me they could but it would just have to be all disassembled. Right now I have a black oxide, but it's pretty scratched up... I want to make it look brand new... I love the gold look and can't find anywhere online to buy a Sog in TiN color...
