Disassembly?

When it comes time to disassemble the Sebenza for cleaning, is it better to remove the slabs with the blade open or in the closed position or does it make any difference at all?

I found that it is better to disassemble the knife with the blade open. If you remove the slab with the blade closed the lock bar will pop the blade up and you could have a nasty accident (trust me, I know). By having the knife open you release any tension on the blade and lock bar. Hope this helps. :D

Thank you for you responce. I had kind of thought that the open blade would be the way to go.
