Hey guys, been going thru pages of posts trying to find the disc grinder that someone was making that had the interchangeable discs. Anyone have the thread or page saved?
Thanks!

David

David, are you talking about swapping the actual disk itself to change sizes or from a beveled to flat disk or a way to change out grits quickly? I have no idea about swapping the actual disks but here's some advice on changing grits out quickly.

This assumes you have a ferrous disk. Center drill and mount a small rod in the center of your disk face. Get some magnetic sign material, make a hole that matches up the rod and trim to fit the disk. You can apply your abrasive material to each quick change disk you've made and it makes it easy to swap out your abrasives. If I remember correctly, if you have an aluminum disk you would use adhesive to mount a magnetic sign disk to the face to have a magnetic surface for the quick change disks to grab.

They are made in Tilley Alberta. My friend Rod Neilsen makes them. He will be at the Calgary gun and knife show with the interchangeable disc system. I have 2 of these and they are awesome. Saves a ton on sandpaper and is very quick to change grits.(seconds)
