Those beautiful knives are the BM Ares.

A quick google search makes me think you are right! Thank you. Seems like they aren't very common on the secondary market...probably means they're highly sought after and out of my price range like most of the things I find! hahaha Oh well it's more responsible for me to not buy one anyway.

I like this design too and wish they were more available. This is my favorite blade shape and while I don't have a 730, I do have a 913. They are a little bit easier to find. There is a somewhat similar model called the 14205 or something very close to that number.

Ares are a good example of how when for sale were moderately successful, but once discontinued continue to soar in price, esp. if NIB. I own a PE satin 732 and have been offered big bucks for it...but no thanks, it stays in the safe. These are great knives and on the list of Benchmade classics. If you guys can't afford a new one look for users, they're around!
