Recommendation? Discontinued knife repair/refurbishing

I love the Benchmade skirmishes but have 1 635 that was heavily used while I was deployed to Iraq that shows a ton of wear and a slight crack in the frame lock. Benchmade does have replacement parts still shockingly, so I plan to send it in. Then there is the limited edition 630 that is still in perfect working order, but could use some love. Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations I could send it off to to be "refinished". In times that benchmade or other makers no longer has parts for a favorite knife, what does the majority do to refurbish/refinish that said knife?

I also have a Ryan Wilson Model 2 from Wilson Tactical that went to Iraq with me as well. Think it has only been sharpened once, but the wear from going in and out of the Kydex Sheath has left the original finish worn. Am I over complicating things by thinking of having it refinished?

I'd be a bit concerned about that , the other stuff not . Functionally .

I'd balance the price of fixing vs just buying something else . Or just use until it breaks .

Personally given what it went through to earn that wear, I'd keep it as-is. It tells the knife's story. The cracked lock bar, however, warrants repair.

For a service memento , I'd just retire the knife and keep "as is" condition .

That’s honest wear on those and I would also be inclined to leave as is. All except the cracked frame lock which you are already sending in.

Way of Knife could refresh them, but not to factory specs. I’m sure there are others as well.
