As each of you are undoubted and keenly aware, each year SOG designs and produces some of the most innovative and practical products. In 2003, that is going to be no different! I’ve been playing with these new toys, and you guys are really going to be impressed.

But as is the case each year, we make room for all the new products by discontinuing various slow sellers. As promised, I’m making the list available.

The follow is the list of discontinued product I personally work from. I know it looks long, but it actually represents products from both 2002/2003 that have been targeted for discontinuation. The lines are a little blurred from last year to this year, so I’m just presenting the whole list as is.

As you can see, it’s broken down into two categories:

Discontinued but with some remaining stock:
  • Serrated Mini TiNi AutoClip T39S
  • Sogwinder II S9
  • ToolClip S23
  • Stingray S6
  • Cocobolo Stingray S17
  • TiNi PowerPlier T65
  • Outdoor Mini AutoClips S42 (Including all colored handles)
  • Colored handled AutoClips
Discontinued with no remaining stock:
  • Black Deluxe Pocket PowerPlier B45
  • JetEdge I J47
  • JetEdge II J48
  • Night Vision NV70
  • SOG Tech S10
  • Government S13
  • Cocobolo Tomcat S22
  • 1/2 Serrated AccessCard SCRD1/2
  • Cocobolo JetEdge I C98
  • Straight Edge Vision STRT68
  • Straight Edge Night Vision STRT70
  • TiNi AutoClip T36
  • Serrated TiNi AutoClip T36S
  • TiNi Mini AutoClip T39
For comparison, here is the list of 2002 product we listed as discontinued from the post I made last year.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks for the information Ron. It's sad to see all those AutoClips disscontinued. But, I can't wait to see what they will be replaced with. Got some SOG money coming Monday. Looks like I'll need to call up and place an order.:)

Is there a picture of the Toolclip still around and the specs, didn't see it on the website? Also what do these sell for? Many thanks!!:)

Hey Chris,

We were hiding the ToolClip webpage from you. Here it is (it's been pulled off the regular site because of its discontinued status).
