How many of you have spent hours surfing the internet or haunting the knife shops looking for a knife that has been discontinued by the manufacturer? Which of those knives would you like to see back in production?

I get some pleasure from finding a relentlessly peaceful use for a combative looking knife.

And the same goes for a knife...
And, I'm a Usual Suspect.

I'd like to see Buck produce more of their Vanguard model hunting knife in BG42 alloy like their discontinued Master Series version. I don't care about the checkered green handle--their regular wood is fine.

I'd like to see the following knives come back:
Gerber Paul
Benchmade Panther (with a redesigned clip)
The panther was a great low-cost linerlock and was my very first Benchmade knife.

it just recently went out of production and they're still pretty widely available, but i would like to see the crkt mirage brought back from the dead.
MO.

I have a Cold Steel Urban Hunter, with an excellent heavy-duty leather boot/IWB sheath. I'd like to see this knife "come back" with a nice Concealex "neck" sheath, as this one makes a GREAT "neck knife".

I'm with Paul Work, above. The Spyderco Renegade and the Blackhawk, are two of the best

I enjoy very much my BM 34 and 45 Balis and my Blackjack "Darkmoor dirk," which has a rather unusual blade design for a dagger/dirk -- the blade is flat on one side. I have a Western boot knife which happens to fit my hand better than most other knives and has a crescent-shaped hilt fashioned out of the blade itself, which is black. It comes with a leather clip sheath. If I saw these designs again, I would expect to see a higher price marked for them.

Isn't the Chinook a lot like the Renegade and Black Hawk?

I think it's a neat blade shape, knid of a rescue/utility blade shape that is very innocent looking for daily carry.

Benchmade's very first liner lock folder.

I cannot remember the model number, but it was very similar in appearance to the Pinnacle, but with aluminum scales, and a polished blade. I carried one of these knives for about a month while waiting for my 970 SBT to arrive from the factory. I was reluctant to give it back to the dealer upon my 970's arrival, and he wouldn't sell it to me.
