Email sent. Another day, another blade....

Yahoo. You're the greatest Aunt Yangdu. Of all of the many khuks I have (and it's a lot) this is my first large pen knife. Thanks again.

Arrggghhhhh! Why do I have to be going on vacation soon?! That other AK would be mine.

Email sent on 9 7/8 inch 10 ounce JKM-1 by Lok Kami. Neem wood handle. I love Neem wood and Montana antelope antler. There is a Neem page here:

Sapwood is grayish-white and the heartwood is red-turning to reddish-brown or exposure. The wood is dull to lustrous, odoriferous without any characteristic taste. It is hard, moderately heavy, uneven and narrowly interlocked-grained, medium to coarse-textured and beautifully mottled. It has a fine ribbon-like figure when sawed radially. It is not subjected to much shrinkage and is medium refractory. Neem wood seasons well in open stacks placed under cover. It is durable even in open situation and is not attacked by insects. The wood is like mahogany and the working quality is almost like that of teak, but takes poor polish.

Well I just sent an email about the 20" CAK and R-10, but it appears I am a bit too late. I'd still like the 10-1/4" Pen Knife if it's available.

Ooh. Good snag on the large Pen Thunder!

-and everyone else! ;):D

Thanks Machete. I love my 14" pen. I just didn't get a larger one till now. Can't wait. U have one?

I've got two of the smaller ones -don't recall the length(s) right now, but I do know one of them needs some refurbishing. My plan is for the two Pens, or possibly our two Yeti Hunters to be "Car Khuks" for Kathy and me. I really would like to snag a longer Pen one of these days. :) Hope you enjoy yours!
